 Since teaching my first class at the age of four—teddies and sisters make great pupils—I’ve been driven by a singular passion: to inspire and nurture through education.

As a teacher and school leader for 20 years, I found myself grappling with an ever-growing misalignment between the education system and my beliefs about what great education looks like.

I value an approach that champions healthy development, active learning, creativity, play, and intrinsic motivation—where relationships and connection are at the forefront.

I don’t value the constraints of a system fixated on tests, quantitative scores, and a fear-based culture that stifles creativity and individuality in children and educators.

So, in 2022, with a heavy heart but an equally determined spirit, I left.

I felt lost—for ages!

Then I hired a coach...

This led me to found What If Education?®, where I challenge the status quo through thought-provoking questions and explore innovative ways to make learning happier, less stressful, and more relevant for everyone.

Experiencing the transformative power of coaching inspired me to add this superpower to my bow. Now a qualified coach with accreditations in both personal performance and educational coaching, I’m privileged to share empowering, life-changing coaching conversations with teachers, school leaders and professionals across other sectors too.

Joining the inspirational education consultancy NoTosh™ as their England-based Senior Consultant was a dream come true. Here, I co-design and deliver transformational training, working with educators and school leaders worldwide to infuse confidence, creativity, and curiosity into every learning experience.

Now, with my mission to make learning happier, less stressful, and more relevant in full swing, I share how to use AI tools to transform teaching and education through webinars, live workshops and CPD events.
